Jasmyne M'chal Tennant, professionally known as M'chal Prosperity, is a multidisciplinary artist, author, speaker, activist, and founder of Unveil Your Voice. Working across visual art, film, digital media, music, poetry, performance, and mixed media, she explores healing, identity, justice, recovery, survival, transformation, and mental health. Through creative programming and artistic expression, she creates opportunities for individuals to discover, develop, and embrace their creative voices. She has been a member of the Returning Artists Guild since 2025.

Artist statement

As an author, speaker, activist, and artist, I use music, poetry, storytelling, and performance to create conversations that challenge silence, inspire transformation, and amplify voices that have been overlooked, marginalized, or unheard. Rooted in lived experience and the realities faced by many communities, my work explores trauma, injustice, identity, resilience, and personal growth while inviting audiences to reflect, connect, and engage in meaningful dialogue.I believe artistic expression has the power to bridge divides, spark understanding, and create pathways toward healing. As the founder of Unveil Your Voice, I am committed to creating spaces where individuals can discover, develop, and embrace their creative gifts while using art as a tool for self-expression, healing, and community impact.Ultimately, my work is about transformation, turning struggle into strength and silence into expression.
