Sarah Gilliam is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, photography, textiles, sewing, poetry, and dance. Her work explores transformation through recycling, reuse, and the search for beauty within painful experiences. Guided first by an image in her mind, she selects the medium best suited to bring each idea to life. Sarah has been a member of the Returning Artists Guild since 2020.

I am a multidisciplinary artist working in photography, sewing, poetry, and dance. I create to find and reveal beauty within pain.

Whether I am making photographs, sewing, writing, or moving through dance, my work is rooted in transformation and resilience. I hope people recognize that difficult experiences can shape us, strengthen us, and become part of something meaningful.
