Imagining Abolition: State Blues opened in January 2026 at the Storyteller’s Gallery at The Ohio State University at Newark. Made possible by a Mellon Foundation Spark Grant and sponsored by the Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP), the exhibition features works by artists from the Returning Artists Guild exploring life, systems of care, and futures beyond incarceration.
