Imagining Abolition: Blood, Sweat, and Tears Too continued its exhibition tour at the Pearl Conard Art Gallery at The Ohio State University at Mansfield from February 10 through March 13, 2026, offering the campus and surrounding community a powerful and deeply human exploration of artwork created by artists directly impacted by incarceration.
Presented in partnership with the Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP), the exhibition reflects the shared vision of the Returning Artists Guild co-founders Aimee Wissman and Kamisha Thomas, two women whose lives intersected within the prison system and who have since transformed that experience into a collaborative effort for social change.
This exhibition was made possible by a Spark Grant from the Mellon Foundation.
